Bacteriostatic water
Bacteriostatic water, also known as antibacterial water, is sterile pyrogen-free water to which 0.9% benzyl alcohol (9mg / mL) has been added as a preservative.
Due to the addition of benzyl alcohol, an opened vial can be kept for about 30 days if kept refrigerated.
This makes it possible to pull up several times with a syringe. However, the rubber stopper should be disinfected before use with an alcohol swab to ensure shelf life
